The Tikkun Olam Community Service Track gives you chance to become a part of the South Tel Aviv communities where you volunteer and study.
For 5 or 10 months, you'll make your home in the close-knit neighborhood of Kiryat Shalom and volunteer amongst the many groups of people who live there and in the surrounding neighborhoods, such as new Israeli immigrants; refugees from Darfur, Eritrea and elsewhere; foreign workers and more. You'll study at Bina's groundbreaking Secular Yeshiva alongside Israeli peers who are also living and volunteering in South Tel Aviv. Study topics include Jewish identity, connection to Israel and the issues facing the populations in South Tel Aviv.
Those Community Service Track participants who wish may also join the Coexistence Track's spoken Arabic classes, in order to fully round out the experience.
